Chinese calligraphy is the writing of Chinese characters as an art form, combining purely visual art and interpretation of the literary meaning. This type of expression has been widely practiced in China and has been generally held in high esteem across East Asia.
Seal carving, also seal cutting, or zhuanke 篆刻, is a traditional form of art that originated in China and later spread across East Asia. It refers to cutting a design into the bottom face of the seal (the active surface used for stamping, rather than the sides or top).
During these workshop, you will be able to create your own calligraphy pieces and at least one your own seal, which can stamp on top your calligraphy work at the end.
Note: Due to limited spaces, all the cancellation has to be made 3 days before the workshop.
