Traditional and exquisite handcrafts of bracelet making from Yi ethnic minority in Southwestern China, with natural dyed yarn and spent at least 5 hours to knot one bracelet. Natural dying and knotting are indispensable parts of traditional Yi ethnic minority people outfits, we want to support this valuable but vanishing knotting technique so we integrated this into jewelry. These kind of bracelets consist of forms of “hitching“: full hitch and two half hitches.
