Join us for a special YiCrafts pop-up event in collaboration with Monsoon Atelier – Crafted for the Winds of Change, celebrating craftsmanship, cultural heritage and contemporary design.
This pop-up brings together a curated selection of Qipao products inspired by traditional Chinese crafts and handmade techniques. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore by hand, handmade Pankou and design pieces that reinterpret cultural traditions through modern creativity.

Traditional Pankou (Frog Button) Workshop
Frog buttons (pankou) are an important element of traditional Chinese garments such as the qipao. These intricate knots are both functional fastenings and decorative craftsmanship.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn traditional techniques to create your own frog button using colourful cords. Once you understand the method, pankou can become a creative tool — much like a paintbrush — allowing everyday inspirations to be transformed into tangible designs.
Guided step by step, participants will explore the cultural story behind this craft while creating their own handmade piece to take home.
