Yi Crafts is delighted to take part in ESEA Contemporary’s Year of the Horse Market, a New Year celebration bringing together craft, design, and community.

At the market, Yi Crafts will present a curated selection of handmade textiles, embroidery kits, and crafted objects inspired by traditional practices from China’s ethnic minority cultures. Our work explores how craft functions as a cultural language — carrying memory, identity, and ways of living across generations and geographies.

Hosted by ESEA Contemporary, the market offers a platform for independent makers and cultural practitioners to share work rooted in lived experience, tradition, and contemporary interpretation. Visitors are invited to explore, engage, and celebrate the Chinese New Year through making and storytelling.
